Happy Thanksgiving! (Fellow Canucks)
Happy Thanksgiving!
Not much knitting to report. I'm working away at Na Craga and I haven't figured out a pattern for my nephew C yet, so I'm balancing the Aran work with teacher presents (Everlasting Bagstoppers this year). I'm working up more than half a dozen of them, and quite frankly, they are even less interesting to photograph than they are to knit.
So, for some visual interest...some Gilly photos! This is last week's trip to the local pumpkin/pick your own farm. It has a reputation as a touristy clip joint. (Years ago, my husband got suckered into paying $18 for a pumpkin...long story, the kids were toddlers, it had been a long day and the moral is don't buy pumpkins by the pound...but I digress...
Boo is in yellow...
Have I mentioned that Boo's new teacher is awesome...she loves field trips and takes the dd classes everywhere! Gilly has 9 outings in October.
The hayride was such a big hit that the teacher arranged for us to go THREE MORE TIMES!! Woo Hoo! The next day, my eyes were so scratchy and swollen, I looked like a mole rat.
Guess I inherited more of my dad's allergies than I thought.
Anyway in the pumpkin farm's defence, they do run a nice school program...lots of outdoor stuff, they don't sell the kids ANYTHING and give them each a pie pumpkin to take home at the end of the day.
It was a fabulous day!

It looks like a great field trip destination. And I'm so jealous that the kids get to go three more times!
Hope you and your family have a happy Thanksgiving.
