Look what Gilly lost today!
Ignore the messy little face, Gilly, Ellery and I were working on Ellery's "book in a box" project today, creating a Harry Potter Cereal Box with an obscene amount of glitter glue, magic markers and chocolate Smarties (for sustenance) followed by a celebratory pizza dinner.
LATE BREAKING NEWS!
Look what the little minx did in the bathtub tonight! Guess she figured out the loose tooth thing!
It's sort of cute...Gilly is in her jammies, sitting on the couch with a hand mirror, looking at her missing front teeth and giggling.
In other, Olympic news...
I'm working on the heel flap for the final Olympic sock today, but I will admit that I spent some time working on Clare's handbag this afternoon while I was waiting for the pups during swimming lessons. I needed something that didn't require counting or even attention to work on in the semi-darkness of the observation room.

I don't think that Gilly appreciates the "growing up" aspect of losing her teeth, but she is definitely aware that something is different in there! The fact that she has figured our mirrors is a good thing!
Gilly lost three teeth on the bottom, but they just didn't seem to make the same impact on her. (maybe cuz she lost both front teeth the same day?)
Hi, Chelle, she's is adorable. Both of my children had to have an oral surgeon remove most of their front teeth. let's just say it was harder on mom and dad than it was on the kids.

love those olympic socks. i just figured out how to use dpn needles. i am so excited.
well dh is home. we are having lunch together.
a little glass of chardonnay, nothing wrong with that.
