Ridiculously Cute Baby...

Things have been silly busy lately...mostly good stuff!

My nephew was baptized last weekend and I took Ellery and Clare down to visit! Here are a couple snaps at the church.

Unfortunately the weather was hideous and the drive down and back featured whiteouts, snow, sleet and rain at varying times...

Oh, Aunt Sheila took Elle out for an early Christmas present and had Elle's ears pierced...note the purple earrings.

Knitting-wise I did finish a quick skater-boy hat from Son of Stitch N Bitch (it was a bday gift and I forgot to snap a picture before giving it away...)And I don't think I posted a picture of the finished Eloise...

Clare's Field Trip

Clare's class went to a local park last week as part of their art and science studies. We collected and pressed leaves, made bark shadings with crayons and painted in the style of Emily Carr.

We also discovered that delaying a field trip for a couple of weeks of rainy weather means that the toilet and drinking fountain facilities were closed up for the season, but that is a whole other story...

Meanwhile, Gilly's Speech Therapist, the fabulous "Eesa" (Lisa in Gilly speak) is expecting her second baby next month. This is the Sweethearts blanket from Bev Galekas.

And just cus it's kinda funny...Gilly "reading".

Happy Halloween

Bad mum again...I snapped the photos of the the girls AFTER trick or treating, so they are looking a bit shopworn.

But here they are:

Ellery, as a glamourous movie star...(wearing her great-grandmother's mink)

Gillian, who was far more into snacking than the whole "door-to-door" thing...

And Clare as a slightly smudged alien. (Our neighbour Dave was handing out veggies as treats this year. Good luck sand-blasting the egg yolks off of your stucco.)

Even Haley the Wonderdog suited up for the occasion.

I'm busy with lots of silliness and don't have much time for knitting, which is why my projects keep increasing exponentially. (I actually forgot about a baby present which I need for next Saturday)
